GENTLE STRETCH & MOBILITY - TUE 10:15

Service Description

A yoga class with a deeper dive into working with mobility and stretch with a slower and gentler approach. We will move slower than in other classes and give the postures a time to marinate. Time to observe how they feel and make adjustments to find release and destress at the same time. We often using tiny micro-movements along side opening flowing gestures, but not always adhering to the specific shapes ( postures) that a more traditional yoga class use. This class will undoubtedly restore and reenergise you from the inside out. With mind-body exercises that include breath work, meditation and visualisation. This class will wake up the soul, working the inner energies of the body or somatic self and be calming to the central nervous system. This class starts on the 3rd Sept. 2024 until 17th Dec. with a week off on the 29th October. You are very welcome to come for a trial and just pay for the one class or join in on the 15 week course and feel the freedom that a regular class brings. Please complete the health questionnaire if you sign up. The class is open to all levels of fitness, including those pre/post surgery, with limited mobility, just got off the couch, or ready to run a marathon, no matter what stage of life you are in this class will bring you health benefits. The only thing is that the class is on the first floor of an old church hall and there is no lift access just as set of stairs. The hall is beautiful though.
